For the second time, the park at the Resort Hof Weissbad is being transformed into a magical display of lights featuring artistic light installations, music, and winter cuisine. In 2027, the Magic of Lights will continue to grow: The tour will be about 30% larger than last year and will feature new light art and interactive installations to discover.

Take a stroll through the wintery park and experience the Magic of Lights as a family outing, an evening with friends, or a special corporate event.

To bring this wonderful project to life every year, we are delighted to collaborate with NoOrdinaryArt NOA together.

You can also visit one of our restaurants or our casual bistro. Early Table Reservation is recommended.

Car

Parking is available at Bischofberger AG. Everything is well-signposted on site, and you’ll be guided to your destination. The walk to the Appenzell Light Magic takes about 10 minutes and is atmospherically lit.

Public Transportation

We recommend traveling by public transportation. The ticket price includes a round-trip journey in 2nd class from all zones of the “Tarifverbund OSTWIND” network.

A 20-minute “Magic of Lights Medley” is performed live in the park of the Resort Hof Weissbad. Daniel Moos (keyboards), Tea Vitali (violin), and Milo Ferrazzini (cello) present highlights from classical music, film scores, pop, and musicals.

From W. A. Mozart’s “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” to “Hymne à l’amour” by E. Piaf and the “Barcarolle,” all the way to “Someday My Prince Will Come” from Snow White and other surprises that will premiere at “Magic of Lights 2027,” we’ve also selected some of our many young guests’ favorite songs.

The three internationally acclaimed musicians have arranged the medley for “Lichterzauber 2027” and guarantee a first-class, one-of-a-kind concert experience exclusively at the Resort Hof Weissbad—even at temperatures as low as –5 °C.

NOA – The Art Behind the Magic of Lights

The light installations are created in collaboration with NOA, led by Primo Berera and Giancarlo Pallioppi. Since 2009, this multidisciplinary artist collective has been developing light art and immersive installations for international projects and public spaces.
